Snipbase is brought to you by Silver Elephant Ltd, a media and advertising company based in Espoo, Finland. The company is owned by its management and Arteel Ventures, an angel investor.
The company was founded in 2010 and its first product was a digital publishing platform for tablets, with customers like Sanoma, a leading publisher in the Nordics, and Rovio, the maker of Angry Birds. As Snipbase became the primary product in late 2011, the publishing platform business was sold to SC5 Online Ltd with a closing in 2012.
